MATERIAL ADVANTAGE ASM INTERNATIONAL STUDENT CHAPTER

The Material Advantage™ Student Program is the premier membership option for students interested in Manufacturing, Materials Science and Engineering. This program provides students with scholarships and grants, career development and information, and access to professional and academic resources from the most preeminent societies: ACerS, AIST, ASM International, and TMS.

Material Advantage^™ at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati is a student-run group committed to the academic and professional development of materials science and engineering students. We work together to build awareness and interest in materials science, provide our members with career development opportunities, and organise outreach events to educate the general public about Material Science.

Throughout the year, our organization participates in various outreach programs and travels to materials-related events. Come to our next meeting to learn more about us and our activities.

The members of Material Advantage at IITT, associate ourselves to accomplish the following:

Promote Materials Science and Engineering through a joint chapter of ASM, TMS, AIST and ACerS.
Provide opportunities for students to become active in the field of Materials Science and Engineering.
Contribute to the learning experience by providing sufficient tools from our research centers and experienced professionals and Encouraging professionalism and ethical behavior.
Provide forums for the exchange of information.
